Testimonials
We're always happy to receive feedback from clients, see below the feedback we've recieved over the years!
I have found the programme really helpful with my transition to post-grad education.
I really enjoyed working with my mentor - they listened and gave me helpful insights that were based on real-life experiences. This approach helped me to feel less alone in a situation, which gave me confidence to complete the tasks required for a successful transition.
Thank you so much for letting me access this service, it was really helpful.
Bridge Mentoring helped me come to terms with my late Autism diagnosis and guided me through getting the help that I needed in place with the most care and attention. I am so grateful and now feel ready to move on to a very exciting chapter of my life.
My mentor helped me understand some of the more difficult behaviour my adult son exhibits as a result of his ADHD. I really wish she’d been around 13 plus years ago! It’s so difficult to navigate the behaviour and maintain the parent child relationship to just be Mum.
They helped me enormously in this. In discussing ADHD I also recognised many behaviours in myself and although I’m not going for a diagnosis as such it does help me to understand why some things are so difficult and give myself a break. This is good for me and the people around me 😉
My mentor was very professional and helpful. She understood the nature of people on the spectrum as was able to cater my sessions to accommodate this very well. Learning about the legal framework to support people on the spectrum was quite the revelation and it will be encouraging to know such support exists should I need it.
My mentor was a fantastic mentor - I hope Bridge will be able to continue doing this exact work. For me, it was life-changing, for the better.
Bridge mentoring helped me so much in a transitional stage of my life that was otherwise daunting.
There is no other service like the transition mentoring. Talking to someone who truly understands burnout and can help look at ways to support my daughter through it has, given me the confidence to keep going.
Just thank you. You have help from the uni back home style of living with ease
This service is invaluable. I have really struggled to find support as the parent of someone who is in autistic burnout and to talk to someone who gets exactly what I am coping with has changed my outlook completely. I would have been lost without these sessions and am eternally grateful.
The sessions were useful, informative and helpful. Thank you so much for letting me access this service, it was really helpful.
The support I received through mentoring was categorically one of the most instrumental factors in enabling me to successfully complete my PhD - my mentor was incredible, and I would have had a much more difficult time without her guidance, dedication, and expertise.
We were able to effectively devise strategies to plan and monitor my workload - which I have always struggled to do without becoming overwhelmed by the pressure of deadlines - and worked together to both figure out what adjustments I needed for the viva voce and ensure they were put in place.
These guys are the best in the business to help you.
Couldn’t recommend this service enough especially at a time when it is so difficult to access support - thank you
As a career consultant and despite having over 30 year’s experience, I recently found myself well out of my comfort and experience zone. I was in need of expertise and support to work effectively with my first formally diagnosed neurodivergent client. At the first face to face meeting with my client I was immediately aware of gaps in my knowledge and experience which I knew I would have to try and fill in order to help him effectively. Bridge Mentoring came highly recommended to me by his university mentor.
Bridge Mentoring generously suggested that the best way for me to learn was to join the online sessions scheduled for my mentor and my client. In every session this allowed me to observe her approach and see how she adapted it to my clients needs, which she did brilliantly. We worked together in a very structured way, and I was able to understand how to adapt my approach to better suit my client’s needs and also to understand which of my existing approaches could still be helpful.
My mentor was always open and friendly to me as someone trying to step temporarily into a very new environment. I felt she was working with us both to ensure the best outcome for my client. I would highly recommend the services of Bridge Mentoring to any other recruitment or career consultants working with neurodivergent clients. Thankyou.
